That's so Boulder!

Mark Goodman

Mark “Goody” Goodman is the creative inspiration for That’s So Boulder! The show is loosely based on his experiences as an outsider experiencing the Boulderite way of life for the first time.

Mark, co-owner of GCM Media, moved to Boulder as the head coach of the University of Colorado Buffalo’s winter baseball team. He quickly learned that Boulder and its unique inhabitants weren’t like the folks back home. His experiences and observations on the quirky and funny stories about his new hometown naturally progressed to the concept for That’s So Boulder! He might even share a few ‘outsider’ traits with ‘Chip,’ the newbie, who is desperately trying to figure out how to navigate the unique culture that sets Boulder apart.

Mark’s media background includes work as a shooter and social media director on GCM projects including “Great Food – Good Neighbors” and the comedy “Welcome to the Coop.” Mark began working with Rusty Case and Tray Goodman to co-create “That’s So Boulder” in the Spring of 2018.

A couple quirky facts about Mark; he struck out Ricky Henderson in an exhibition game (it was his first time pitching in the Minors). He also went to Moscow, Russia in 2007 to help coach the Russian Olympic baseball team.
